Busy, Busy, Busy

Well July has turned out to be very busy (so busy the only time I can find to update this blog is 4.54a.m) not only have we got E3, full list of Xboxliveaddicts’ E3 content, including fact sheets, videos and screenshots here , but I also became an MVP which as my members will tell you am very proud of

We also have Serkan Hassan, the Lead Designer for MotoGP ’07 posting a weekly diary for us, which is very much appreciated and gives us an insight into what to expect with MotoGP ’07. Take a read of Week 1 and week 2.

I’d like to thank Daz for helping out with the non stop E3 content, he worked like a trooper and missed out on sleep!

We are almost at the 10,000 member mark too!

Vista

Bought a new laptop the other day with Vista installed on it.

After working out where everything had been moved to, and moving most things over from my old PC I’m quite liking it. There are some pretty cool features.

Halo 2 Vista interests me, so will buying that when it comes out. Pretty cool that PC users can play with Xbox 360 users, but is there going to be more cheating?

A big hello to my friend Allen who is a bit under the weather at the moment. Love you lots Allen, keep your chin up! and come round here and move the rest of my things over

Xboxliveaddicts is doing well, hoping for the big 10k by the end of the summer. Our family just keeps on growing!

Welcome Kyale

I’ve just become an Auntie for the second time! So welcome little Kyale, and let’s hope you follow your father’s footsteps onto Xbox whatever the next one is called! Congratulations to my brother (I Shat Myself, for people who know him by gamertag) and his partner

We did it!

Xboxliveaddicts have just passed another milestone! now with over 5,100 members we have also climbed higher by increasing our visitors to 85,000 a month!. Well done to all the staff, members, visitors, and a special thank you to those game companies and XCN for providing us with information about their games and even interacting with the members on the website . This makes us the UK’s largest Xbox/ Xbox 360 fansite.

Recently in 360OXM we were also noted as their dominant Xbox 360 website for Xbox Live leagues.

Update: make that 6500 members and 205,000 uniques visitors a month we continue to grow at an amazing rate!

Re: MotoGP 06 Petition to THQ

Still not heard anything back from THQ about the petition. I don’t mind them not replying, if they are actually doing something about it, but my guess is as good as yours. It still amazes me that these games are sent out for release in this state, but most actually repair the damage shortly after release. THQ even brought a patch out for Saint’s Row, but still we see no patch for MotoGP 06?

On another note, recently I sent my Xbox 360 back for repairs. I was very pleased with the service and got it back within 4 days. However, my partner’s one has also gone wrong now and dealing with his was a different matter. Not happy with that service at all!

MotoGP 06 Petition to THQ

Posted: October 4, 2006 in Uncategorized

Well no, MotoGP 06 was not and is still not right online. We have a list of problems with the most serious being people losing their profiles  and STILL not hearing each other, well the list goes on……here and still even after being posted up the same day as the game’s release and emailed on too many to count occasions, they (both companies) still deny any knowledge of these problems!

Anyway, if you want to help us, help you, please sign the petition here, at the time of writing we have over 300 names and counting and that’s just in a few hours of been posted. I’m not giving up until it is fixed!.

I have just been informed Saint’s Row is suffering from problems too, come on devs and publishers sort these problems out before the games get released. These games aren’t cheap, don’t let the consumer suffer what a beta tester should. Other than that both games are brilliant, it’s just a shame a gamer’s enjoyment has to be tarnished with these problems. It seems to me every Xbox 360 game has some problem of other, but most games do get a patch soon after release, but it’s still not right.

On another note, are you thinking of buying a PS3 or a Wii? (that name still makes me laugh) if so take a visit to the Addicts group’s two new websites www.ps3addicts.co.uk and www.wiiaddicts.co.uk.
